DAY 2: SSL at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games Thailand 2025)

Clean Wins Strengthen Thailand Control

Chon Buri, December 16 – SSL Team Thailand tightened its grip on the SEA Games regatta with two more wins on day two in Pattaya. Racing in 11-12 knots and mint conditions, Thailand sailed cleanly in shifting conditions to extend its overall lead. Strong starts, fast manoeuvres, and decisive upwind pace proved key in the tightest racing of the series so far, as the points battle intensified behind them.

“We keep things very simple,” said Thailand floater Nichapa Waiwai. “We sail clean and hike hard. That is the key for us.”
